Educated at the University of Wisconsin-Madison, Carol
has over 20 years of experience in interior design.
Her love of people and their needs is reflected in her
high quality residential interiors. She has won design
awards but remains dedicated to hands on approach.
Selection as the interior designer for
Sarah
Susanka’s Not so Big House, built in the Minneapolis
Convention Center in 1996, renewed her commitment to
high quality design that literally nourishes the soul
and celebrates everyday living.
Textiles are a daily part of her life
with experience as a weaver, seamstress and window treatment
designer. She has both remodeling and new home construction
experience and has worked closely with wood workers
and craftsmen.
She is a University of Minnesota Master
Gardener Intern. A lifetime gardener, she knows the
importance of integrating the indoor and outdoor environments.
She is the designer awarded the large Lakeside Deck
of the 2006
ASID Showcase Home. This new design interest will
result in many meaningful outside room designs.
